Roles & Responsibilities:
- Coordinating with clients for further requirements according to the field system.
- Installation, reception, configuration of servers, networks, and equipment.
- Check data communication monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshooting equipment and software to repair and diagnose any malfunctions in the system.
- Configure and maintain system access management.
- Remote monitoring system & documentation.
- Understanding & verifying electrical design / drawings.
- Remote configuration of edge controller and new devices at the site.
- Establishing communication from field devices to edge controllers using different protocols (Phyton, Modbus, OPCDA, OPCUA).
- Examining database through SQL server data logging.
- Post-installation tasks.
- Panel wiring checks.
- Termination checks.
- Visiting the client site as required.
- Proper planning and innovative thought that meets client requirements, during commission.
Skill Set:
- Deploying and troubleshooting of edge controller and webserver.
- Able to understand critical processes and technical requirements.
- Define and document system design specifications.
- Knowledge of systems design theory and methods.
- Proficient in MS office (MS word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Familiar with TCP/IP, LAN, Linux, Phyton, WAN, MPLS, Frame Relay, Wireless, Fiber Optic, Remote Access, Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Gateways, Bridges, and Hubs.
- Good documentation skills.
- Good reporting skills.
- Able to maintain good relationships with clients.
- Knowledge sharing to Jr engineers.
